Add 10%-15% extra to the total to account for material waste during installation, such as cuts, adjustments, and pattern alignment.
Round the result up. If the calculation includes decimals, always round up to the nearest whole number to ensure you have enough material.
Example calculation:
Wall measuring 3 meters wide by 2.5 meters high: 3 x 2.5 = 7.5 m².
For two walls of the same size: 7.5 x 2 = 15 m².
Adding 15% for waste: 15 x 1.15 = 17.25 m².
Round up: You will need 18 m².
